Established in 1975 Peter Volaris Music Centre has been a fixture of the Melbourne music scene for over 35 years. We are a family business that has built a strong reputation for reliability, knowledge and expert advice. Over the years we have had thousands of satisfied customers, from students just beginning their musical journey through to world-class professional musicians.
We offer an incredible array of high quality string, woodwind, brass, percussion, electronic and keyboard instruments, as well as more unusual and hard to find instruments and accessories. We service all areas including Coburg, Ascot and Pascoe Vale, Carlton, Fitzroy, Parkville and Northcote.
The Peter Volaris Music Centre is also Australia’s largest importer of the Greek Bouzouki, Tzoura, Baglama, Oud, Saz, Daouli & Toumberleki. Accessories also available: Solitaire, Prodigy, Savvas, Archondis, TAP and the Albert System Clarinet.

Our Sydney Road shop is also home to the highly-respected Peter Volaris Music School, one of the longest running private music schools in Melbourne.
